Couples seek true relaxation
We had a lovely surprise anniversary cake waiting for us in our room. such a kind touch from the staff! The ocean view from our balcony was incredible and made for the perfect spot for morning coffee and evening sunset.
It wasn’t inexpensive but worth the price if you look for a nice escape.

insight resort ahangama was super awsome! the views from our deluxe sea view room were amazin, and i loved chillin on the balcony. the staff was really friendly and even surprised us with an anniversary cake! the beach area was so clean and well maintained, perfect for relaxin. the food was also great, loved the buffet options for all meals.
but i gotta say, the wifi can be pretty spotty at times and the checkout timing was kinda strict. also, a few more local dishes would have been nice!

The internet was practically non-existent, only suitable for basic communication, leaving guests frustrated. The dining area felt awkward and lacked character. The breakfast was quite limited. The pool, while decent, had moments when it was closed for cleaning at inconvenient times, and nearby beaches were not as clean as expected.

The room was clean and had a decent view of the sea, but I struggled with the AC leaking water. Dinner was reasonable at 1800 LKR, but I would’ve appreciated more local dishes. Check your checkout timing as late fees apply! a good stay for solo travelers.
